Terms of service

1. About Blip
Blip Healthcare Ltd (trading as blip) is a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales. We provide private mental health services for children and young people. Blip is not an NHS service and is not affiliated with the NHS.
2. Not an emergency service
Blip does not provide emergency mental health support. If you or your child is in immediate danger, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E department. For urgent mental health support, call 111 and select option 2.
3. Eligibility
Blip services are available to children, adolescents and young adults aged 7 to 25. Self-referral is available to young people aged 16 and over. For younger children, a parent or legal guardian must make the enquiry.
4. Fees and payment
Our fees are as published on the Fees page. Payment is due before the commencement of any appointment. We do not offer credit. Fees for missed appointments with less than 48 hours notice are charged at the full session rate.
5. Confidentiality
Clinical confidentiality is maintained in line with professional regulatory standards (GMC, HCPC, NMC). Information is disclosed to third parties only with your explicit consent, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of serious harm to the child or others.
6. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, write to complaints@blip.org.uk or visit our complaints page. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and respond fully within 20 working days.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
